Two Kokeshi made by master Usaburo Okamoto, one of the most famous Kokeshi artists in Japan. These two handcrafted wooden dolls make a very cute couple. Both are hollow on the inside, providing a storage space of some kind. The smaller one has a lid to close this space. Although they are different in size and form, there are similarities in the carvings and paintings, making each doll a unique example of Japanese craftsmanship. There are no noticeable damages and they are estimated to be between 40 and 60 years old.
