BAROLO DOCG CANNUBI 3 LITER

Produced only in exceptional years in a limited number of bottles

Vineyard: Cannubi. Perhaps the most famous hill in Italy, the most famous and prestigious
vineyard of the Barolo denomination. Historically it is the oldest cru in Italy,
recognized since 1752. Here everything is perfect: altitude, exposure, soil,
location and microclimate place Barolo at the top of the denomination. Since 1989,
Michele Chiarlo owns the vineyard in the historic heart of the Cannubi (where it is located
the “ciabot”, or the ancient Cannubi hut) in a steeply sloping area which,
under the guidance of the Swiss Changin University, it was terraced with embankments
grassed. A very delicate job, which today guarantees the integrity of the land and
fights hydrogeological instability.

Ageing: minimum 3 years. Matured for 2 years in medium capacity oak barrels,
before refinement in the bottle
colour: ruby garnet red with brilliant reflections

Nose: intense, aristocratic, complex with notes of small fruits, liquorice, tobacco
Sweet

Taste: enveloping, rich with silky tannins that accompany the sensation of
body and fullness

- All our wines are stored at controlled temperatures and humidity
