Marc Sassier and Gilbert Bolinois, respectively Oenologist and Cellar Master of the famous Sainte-Marie distillery, together signed this new exceptional Saint-James vintage: L'Essentiel. The new blend from these two experts is simply remarkable, the result of a carefully made selection from very great vintages! The production experience of these two men, governed for 20 years according to the rigor of the AOC Martinique specifications, is an undeniable strength. L'Essentiel consists of three exceptional vintages from the harvest years of 1998, 2000 and 2003. The three vintages that make up this cuvée have patiently aged for more than 12 years, in the tropical climate of Martinique. The small Bourbon barrels in which they were matured were also carefully selected. No topping or reduction was carried out before their assembly, in order to remain faithful to their original aromatic richness. This unique rum perfectly expresses the Saint-James DNA!
