Henri Selmer Paris - B700 - - Trompete - Frankreich - 1978

This is probably the most famous trumpet mark you can find in the world, as it was the preferred trumpet factory for Louis Armstrong as well as a long list of other famous trumpet players. It has been cleaned, some old lacquer removed and then polished into the beautiful appearance it has today. Everything has been cleaned and oiled. It's in raw condition as no lacquer was applied after the polish. The filts look recent, and everything is moving with ease. I am not a trumpet player, but it seems the instrument is in perfect playing condition. You have some minor dents as it can be seen in the pictures. It comes with the original travel case and an extra mouthpiece as well as a note holder. Henri Selmer Paris is a French enterprise, manufacturer of musical instruments based at Mantes-la-Ville near Paris. Founded in 1885, it is known as a producer of professional-grade woodwind and brass instruments, especially saxophones, clarinets and trumpets. Louis Armstrong played on various models of trumpets throughout his career, but he is most closely associated with the Selmer Balanced Action Trumpet. He played this model from the mid-1930s until the end of his career, and it became known as the "Louis Armstrong model" due to its association with the legendary musician. The K-modified trumpet retains the improvements of the Balanced (with the valves moved towards the front) and integrates a modified fitting system. Louis Armstrong took to the instrument, playing it until the end of his career.
