If you place a modern white paper with the pieces under UV light together, you are able to see that the white paper is more purple/bluer, it is because the Optical brightener is highly added to the modern white paper (To make the surface looks brighter and whiter) and its age is not long enough for the Optical brightener to fade away, therefore if the pieces are newly printed with modern paper piece, it will reflect also the same deep blue/purple color as the modern white paper.
