About Glenturret Glenturret Distillery was established on the banks of the River Turret at Hosh to the north of Crieff in Scotland’s Highland whisky region in 1775. Now one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland and with mash in the mash tun stirred by hand using a long-handled wooden paddle and just two small stills it is also amongst the smallest.
