Parcel gilt silver (835/1000) tankard with 12 coin inserts, Austria-Hungary, early 20th century.
 Tallers, Crowns and Florins cover the surface of this tankard, fixed with an elegant crown of visible prongs.
 The coins mostly bear the effigy of Emperor Franz Joseph and the Habsburg coat of arms. 
An excellent state of conservation allows you to enjoy the beauty of the details and the quality of the minting. This large tankard, of round form, is standing on a cylindrical foot. The body is decorated with 12 inserted coins depicting the profiled portrait of Emperor Franz, followed by an inscription and his name and the Habsburg coat of arms. One more coin is inserted on the top of the object. On the side of the tankard, there is an ear-shaped cast handle. The thumb rest is formed as a large, silver-gilt ball.
