Tischlampe - Messing, Stahl, Textil - Hollywood Regency

Period: 1980s – Hollywood Regency. This Willy Rizzo style lampshade comes in various sizes, this one being 50cm produced by Arte Lumen. Many other geometric table lamps were made, some in strange shapes. This type of table lamp is often called a high-rise lamp. Its base is unique and distinguishes it from low quality copies. Check photo of the base! Similar lamps with brass and chrome tubes were manufactured by the Spanish company BD Lumica, but they are all labeled and have a different socket. The French Atelier La Boetie also produced similar lamps. And also Solken-Leuchten from Germany, Hans-Agne Jakobsson from Sweden, Fabbian from Italy sold some similar lamps. Rizzo designed several items in chrome and brass. Willy Rizzo (22 October 1928) was an Italian photographer and designer. Willy Rizzo designed and produced furniture and lighting. The company's name was Studio Willy Rizzo. He opened boutiques in France and Europe and had points of sale in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. In 1978, Rizzo gave up everything to return to photography, his first love. He died on February 25, 2013, aged 84. German company Arte Lumen was active from 1981 to 2016. It changed its name a few times. In 2003 it was named Mobiluce. It was later renamed Arte Lumen. Today it is called Designfunktion and is a designer lighting retailer. This base has now lost its label. The wiring, plug, for normal E27, switch and socket are Italian, original and safe, the brass and steel show signs of time and use compatible with the age, the lampshade is relatively recent, with a golden interior and covered in silk in a dark beige tone. Beautifull and perfect lamp, will be packaged with care and sent immediately with a tracking code.
