A rare, beautiful natural banded gazelles bead talisman from the ancient Persian culture.

1st Millennium AD or older.

In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving, grinding and boring. The holes are ancient, hand-made, irregular, funnel-shaped. Traces of use and age on its surface. One small hairline by one of the holes.

Purchased mid 90's in London by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market.
