New Musical Express was the foremost music magazine in the UK in the 1970s and 1980s.
This very fine collection of NME issues covers the period from 27 January to 22 december 1979, featuring articles on (among many others) Van Morrison, The Fall, graham Parker Blondie, Talking Heads, Joe Jackson, Elvis costello, Sham '69, Paul Weller, Bob Marley, Madness, The Slits, The Clash, The Undertones and Bob Geldof as well as Mods and Apocalypse now(the film)
Most issues were bought during my studies in Cardiff and, having been read intensely, folds, creases and tears abound.
For further details see the photos.
