Fiat 1500 Convertible - Pininfarina - 1965
The Fiat 1500 convertible was designed and built by Pininfarina between 1963 and 1966. The chassis was specially designed for a series of sporting Fiats, including the coupé and the convertible. The four cylinder engines initially gave it 67hp, from 1964 this increased to 75hp. That resulted in a great, pure Italian open car with a top speed of 160 km/h.
The MOT (periodic vehicle inspection) is valid until July 2017 and the odometer reading is 26,600 miles.
This nice car was totally restored and overhauled in the past. The body and the paint are nice and neat except for the odd updated mark and rusty spot (see photos). The bottom is very neat. The interior is neat and the black linen top is in nice, good condition. The tonneau cover is also included. The Fiat is technically well-maintained, the brakes were completely overhauled recently. When turning the key the engine starts straight away, it gives good oil pressure and runs beautifully. This flamboyant convertible drives, brakes and shifts very well.
Engine: 1481cc four cylinder OHV water-cooled
Transmission: Manual, 4 gears.
Power: 75hp at 5400 RPM
Weight: 1,130 kg
Brakes: disc brakes front, drum brakes rear
