These devices applied varying charges by means of a copper clip in a handle. The clip can hold all kinds of glass tubes filled with noble gas. By pressing the glass tubes against the skin it creates an alternate current between gas and skin. The gas become ionized and the light is transferred between gas and skin. This causes a beautiful blue glow inside the tubes, a rattling sound and sometimes a stinging sensation. The frequency of the charge is not high, goes up to approx. 250 kHZ. The “charge” was supposed to hold the most fantastic healing properties and the device was used on all kinds of ailments. Patients will undoubtedly have been very impressed with their treatment.
