Fiat - 600 Savio Jungla - 1969

- Valid inspection: until April 2019. - Number plates and documents: Italian. The registration certificate is from 1997, when the car got a new number plate. - Odometer reading: 40,394 km. - Previous owners: 3. - Engine: 767 cc. DESCRIPTION Car registered as “unique model”, with EU approval on the registration certificate. The uncomfortable seats of the 600 Jungla were replaced with beautiful leather seats. The dashboard was equipped with new additional lighted instruments, since the car was only fitted with the odometer. It was fully repainted 5 years ago. Rusted parts were removed and new panels were mounted, as shown in the photos. The paintwork is currently good with some minor imperfections and body and underbody of the car are completely rust free. The engine was revised and some changes were done to solve the usual overheating issue which always affected the Fiat 750 water-cooled engine. The belt fan was replaced with an electric one capable of doubling the air flow. An additional fan was mounted on the left side of the engine compartment to improve cooling and hot air discharge. The handcrafted exhaust is similar (almost identical) to the Abarth model, with a nice moderate sound. The radiator has a recovery tank for any water leakage. The air filter is new. The gearbox works perfectly, without clashes and the clutch release is good. The car is quick and responsive, a pleasure to drive. The car is fitted with a water heating system which wasn’t originally there. It has power window wipers and a battery switch in the bonnet. The doors can be removed and allow a further customisation of the car. You can only use the security bars or mount solid body doors. In this case, we suggest to remove the side aluminium guards. Moreover, doors allow to separate windows (bayonet fitting) from the metallic part. Cromodora magnesium rims. Original from that time, of course. The car has an original rubber soft top in more than good conditions, with no tears. For the original automatic version straps are not needed to fix it. Notes: Rev counter and odometer are not working (the speedometer works). Tyres are worn. Slight oil leak. This vehicle can be viewed and picked up in Rome, Italy.
