Egg is the famous armchair designed by the great designer Jacobsen for the Danish brand Fritz Hansen. It is one of the most famous and important objects in the history of international design. The egg-shaped armchair was born in 1958 to furnish the exclusive Royal SAS Hotel in Copenhagen, and is still made to this day in a vast range of versions. Seat and backrest in glass fibre, reinforced with polyurethane and coated in a fabric padded with latex foam. Rotating base with central 4-point aluminium foot, with removable seat cushion. The armchair may be tilted and can be adjusted according to the weight of the user. Cherry-coloured fabric in perfect condition, like new, no signs of wear. Perfect armchair, bought in Italy in 2013.
