Franklin Mint.
The ceremonial sword of Emperor Napoleon with a beautiful oak wood wall display.
On the 24 carat gold plated plaque at the bottom of the display unit is inscribed: “Epee de Ceremonie de l' Empereur Napoleon.”.
Than translates as: The ceremonial sword of Emperor Napoleon.
It is a perfect reproduction of the sword forged for Napoleon.
This sword was created on commission of the International Military Archives in collaboration with Franklin Mint.
It was manufactured in Toledo, Spain.
The handle is completely gold plated with 24 carat gold.
The blade is of tempered steel with a protective coating over it to prevent stains.
There are engravings on the blade that have been gold plated in 24 carat gold as well.
The sword is in very good condition!
Also the dark brown oak wooden wall display is in very good condition, some scratches incurred over the years, but those can be polished easily with furniture wax.
The length of the sword is 86 cm. and the width is 12.5 cm.
The length of the oak wood wall display is 101 cm and width 18.5 cm.
