Rare old E.G.O. electric hob
In 1958/1959 with small number of manufactured at E.G.O. Electrical-Gerätebau GmbH, for years, manufacturer of electric hot plates. This rare 220-volts model with 145 mm diameter heat plate is the first that is equipped with a thermostat and equipped with a heat switch. The maximum consumption of 1200 Watts is adjustable with the bakelite switch adjustable in six positions. The round heat plate is made of cast iron, the table of sheet steel, the white is enamelled. The power supply has a heavy, partly porcelain female end in a chrome finish outlet. Underneath the ventilation bottom a metal type plate. Complete with 190 cm long grounded power cord. Working condition with little wear.
