BIHL Czechoslovakia - 3-piece Art Deco pottery clock set
Ceramic clock with Art Deco decor by BIHL from Czechoslovakia.
The clock is rectangular. The decor is a painting of a gradient from green to yellow with spheres, and a dark brown with orange accents in the middle. On the bottom of the clock the number 0180, and on the two vases the number 3312-2. The brand sign of Bihl is in red.
Dimensions clock:
Height: 24 cm.
Width: 26 cm.
Depth: 8 cm.
Dimensions vases:
Height: 24 cm.
Width: 6 cm.
Depth: 6.5 cm.
Condition: good. The ceramic is undamaged but a few small chips at the bottom of the clock and the vases. The glass of the clock is still intact, it does have some dirt, and the cover of the timepiece is missing.
The name Czechoslovakia (without dash) was used from 1920 to 1934 used by the BIHL-factory in Ledvize (German: Ladowitz) in North-Western Czech Republic. The factory existed from 1896-1937.
