Circuit diagram Test report in Stereo review Test report in Stereo HiFi Test All photos on CD-Rom. The Setton is an especially rare item. Designed and built by J. Setton. Importer of Pioneer in France. A small flaw in the top edge above the word stereophonic (photo 13) is the only flaw on this otherwise immaculate condition. The last 3 photos are scans of STEREO hifi TEST edition 1977/06 in which a test report of this Setton was published. The testers, led by Hein ten Bosch, thought they were getting fooled, this device was so good. The device has 5 different lights which correspond to the chosen input, AM, FM Phono, AUX 1 and AUX 2. The Setton also has a large number of filter and adjustment options. The phono input can be switched to MM and MC. Specifications, factory settings: Power: 2 x 55 watts at 8 ohms. Signal/noise ratio of the tuner part: 67 dB. (stereo) Signal/noise ratio preamplifier line: better than 90 dB. Signal/noise ratio preamplifier Phono: better than 70 dB. (MM) better than 65 dB. (MC). Dimensions: 57 x 17 x 35 cm. (WxHxD) Weight: approx. 15 kg. Retail price in 1978 Hfl. 3150.- All vintage audio equipment offered by me for sale is professionally checked before taking pictures. A complete test is done by electro-technicians at this company. The devices are always cleaned and repaired and re-adjusted where needed. The receiver will be packaged twice following all art regulations, boxed twice in specially purchased boxes (picture 34) of very heavy quality (up to 70 kg load capacity).
