Baccarat cut crystal wine carafe, Thorigny pattern. The Thorigny pattern is a close cousin to the Lagny - much younger in strong crystal and in the same shape as the Lagny service, with a simpler cut pattern but still giving all of the pieces of this pattern exceptional brilliance. The carafe of the Thorigny service, like its counterpart Lagny is perfectly matched with a stopper in the shape of a pineapple, a sign that Baccarat is always at a certain level of elegance.. Our carafe has the Baccarat signature etched with acid under the bottom. It comes, therefore, from a date after 1936, the date when the paper label was replaced by the stamp.
