Magnificent chess set of hand-painted tin soldiers. One of the Napoleonic Wars, the French-Spanish Independence War are what inspire this chess. It reflects with great fidelity the costumes and uniforms of the time with great detail, as well as the most illustrious characters. Napoleón Bonaparte, his brother José Bonaparte and Josefina against Generals of the allies alongside Agustina de Aragón, troop, cavalry, etc. Dimensions of the pieces range from 8 cm (the king) to 6.5 cm (the pawns). The 32 pieces weigh 2.4 kg. They are in good condition with some small sign of use. A nice wooden classic marquetry-like board completes the chess set. Dimensions of the board: 53 x 53 x 2 cm. In good condition with a mark of the on one side (see photos). Safe packaging. Registered shipping with track and trace.
