Elaborately finished belly cabinet / secretary desk. Made of mahogany, parts have a root wood veneer finish. Solid and practical: Behind the lid are 2x4 drawers, 2x2 compartments, a cabinet in the middle with a sliding hatch to a secret compartment. The lid can rest on two extendable support bars. Underneath are three large wide drawers. On the drawers and the lid are copper fittings. The locks work with all original beautiful keys. The whole stands on beautifully carved lion legs. Dimensions: (h x w x d) 104 x 80 x 50 cm, when the lid is open, it is also 80 cm deep. Condition: In good condition for a desk from the 19th century.
