Vico Magistretti for Artemide - pair of Gaudi chairs
Pair of original Gaudi armchairs, designed by Architect Vico Magistretti for Artemide; an innovative architect, industrial designer and urban planner, Vico Magistretti was a leading force in Italian design from 1960 onwards. We owe the creation of countless projects that we now consider design icons to him.
Made in beige fibreglass / glass wool, they have signs of wear on seats, backrests, armrests, which are normal for their age. Both chairs feature the 4 black feet at the bottom of the legs.
Did you know? This line of armchairs, in pure Space Age style, was a regular presence on the set of the memorable TV series 'Space 1999'. Today, they are on display at the MoMA of New York, as they have become truly iconic objects.
Measurements (H x W x D): 75 x 59 x 57.5 cm
