Wonderful handmade ceramic sculpture of a sleeping tiger cat, made in the 1960s-1970s. It was made by Elise Glaffey (1936) from Denmark. She studied at the Chelsea Art School in England and worked together with the sculptors Luckou Nielsen and Bent Sørensen. She makes many animal figurines, also in commission. This cat is one of those. Signed on the bottom: ‘Glaffey’. Dimensions: 15 x 8 x 6.5 cm. It weighs 424 grams. In excellent condition. Please see the photo for a good impression. Will be perfectly packaged and shipped with registration and insurance.
