Great collection of seven antique porcelain plates by the porcelain manufacturer MZ Austria, with depictions of, amongst others: Madame Recamier, Hortense and Duchess Marie-Louise. All plates are in excellent condition and are marked. The plates have a green and red frame with gilded floral motifs. Diameters: Six plates have an 18 cm diameter. One has a 22.5 cm diameter. Hortense Eugénie Cécile de Beauharnais (Paris, 10 April 1783 – Arenenberg Castle in Thurgau, 5 October 1837) was Queen of Holland and the mother of Napoleon III.
