De WAN - De WAN - Dish - Porcelain
Refined collectible plate from the National Museum of Cavalry, numbered, made by De Wan Object d’Art for the Bank S. Paolo institute in Turin. De Wan plates are unique creations, in which art merges with crafts to create this masterpiece of a knightly scene on fine porcelain, with double crown in pure gold with mirror finish which makes it even more brilliant. This plate is one of a series of six, reproducing rare English artistic engravings of the 1700s, exhibited permanently in the halls of the National Museum of Cavalry in Pinarolo (Turin, one of the most important European Museums devoted to Cavalry). This plate was never exhibited, it was always kept in its box with styrofoam, has a diameter of around 29.5 cm, is in good condition, without cracks or chipping, comes with a booklet with small explanation on the back. The box shows visible signs of aging, see photos.
