Marvellous large lidded vase (38 cm) from the ‘Original Blue’ collection by De Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft). It has a wonderful hand painted flower scenery in various tints of Delft Blue. Royal Delft is the only manufacturer of Delft Blue left since the 17th century. Royal Delft maintains the same method of production which is the worldwide standard for the current high quality Delft Blue. A real Royal Delft product can be recognised by the marks on the bottom: the initials ‘JT’, the apothecary bottle and the word ‘Delft’.
