mount: walnut short barrel with butt in chough beak shape barrel: polished steel; cylindrical with side to the thunder. calibre: 17.7 mm (reamed) smooth; length: 20 cm; sight consisting of two half round lock: converted to percussion; hammer with straight grid crest markings: right thunder: MR 1825, C in a thoroughly dark diamond, E under star, D in a thoroughly dark circle, C-1861; left thunder: C of 17.6, P R, 719; under the barrel: N 564, F 22; Breech tail: Mle 1822 T Bis on the barrel to the left: CHATELL.., TULLE, 719 ; lock: R in a diamond with dark bottom; Mre Rle; the rest is unreadable all brass fittings: T in an oval. length: 36 cm; height: 18 cm; weight: 1225 g dating: manufacturing in 1825, probably in Tulle, transformation in 1861 (in Châtellerault?)
