Germany - Mauser - C96 BOLO - Autoloading - Centerfire - Pistol - 7.63x25

Mauser began production of a compatible version of the C96 for commercial sales from 1920 to 1921. It featured smaller grips, a shorter barrel of 99 millimetres and had the calibre of a standard 7.63 x 25 mm Mauser. The mass production of the weapon was from 1921 until 1930. It was in large quantities sold to armies in Baltic area and was used by the Polish, Lithuanians, German Freikorps and Belarusians. The Bolshevik government (and later the new Red Army) of the Soviet Union in the 1920s bought large numbers of this model and also took them away of defeated enemies. the characteristic gun was associated with the Bolsheviks and therefore got the nickname "Bolo". The "Bolo" model was also popular, because the shorter barrel and the smaller total size of the gun made it easy to hide it. The gun is destroyed in France so can no longer strain. Is in very good condition, really a museum piece. Carefully packed and sent registered after payment.
