Tabletop clock - Thomas Haller - Wood, Walnut - Early 20th century

Thomas Haller AG from Schwenningen was founded in 1870, the company became a leading wristwatch producer. From 1882 clocks were made with own movements including year clocks. From 1895, pocket watches were also produced. Around 1899, 4000 pocket watches were produced daily. The successful pocket watch production aroused the interest of Junghans. The negotiations led, on 1 April 1900, to the merger with Vereinigte Uhrenfabriken Gebrüder Junghans and Thomas Haller AG. However, the equal relationship between Junghans and Haller did not last long. After Junghans had tried to get the upper hand, Haller stopped the merger. Son Thomas Ernst Haller founded a new wristwatch factory in Schwenningen, Thomas Ernst Haller AG. This alarm pendulum dates from during the merger with Junghans, since it was a very short fusion period, the combination of a Junghans movement and Thomas Haller case is very rare. Up to now, it works perfectly, with a neatly maintained clock, of course, delivered with its small key! Delivery with tracking code in professional packaging!
