Beautiful vintage BeoGram 4002 type 5521 with tangential arm mechanism from 1979 designed by Jacob Jensen. Has been fully serviced according to the service requirements of Bang & Olufsen. I always do a motor revision for any BeoGram I sell. The oilite bearings (top and bottom) of the drive motor of the platter have been infused with oil at a high temperature, this means that the motor is free of maintenance for many years, nicely runs at the right speed and is silent. The motor of the tangential arm has also been checked and is in perfect condition. Also: - Hinges around solenoid were cleaned and damper was lubricated - Damper, mute switch, platter height and tracking force adjusted - RPM adjusted to 33 and 45 rpm - New string set placed for tracking arm and platter drive. And of course, all features and lights work. The aluminium parts are in beautiful condition as well as the control panel, this looks as good as new. The wooden rosewood cabinet is in beautiful condition and the dust cover has been polished following the Micro Mesh principle. Equipped with an original MMC4000 cartridge with an elliptical naked diamond needle in good condition, the diamond tip is clearly visible with a magnifying glass. I am also including an adapter cable from DIN to RCA with additional ground wire so this record player can be connected to any amplifier.
