Offered for sale - one of the iconic early Beogram 1000 in grey hammer lacquer, designed by Jacob Jensen in the early sixties. The turntable has been overhauled by seller as follows: - motor taken apart, cleaned, bearings re-lubricated, reassembled and adjusted - fine control of speed cleaned, re-lubricated and tested - drive belt replaced by a new one with the correct specifications - overall cleaned inside and outside - the teak wood sanded and new oil applied - reassembled and tested for several days in daily use. It is equipped with a nice, well sounding SP 6-7 16my pick-up, which despite its age plays records very well. Furthermore it comes with an original, undamaged dust cover with the old famous B&O logo intact. The lid could benefit from some more polishing for even better appearance. Will be packed carefully in a double layer box with correct chock absorbing filling and securing of the moving parts. Shipment only within the EU countries.
