Object: Gorgeous Napoleon III Boulle clock on a matching table console. Style: Régence The gold is in fantastic condition and it is completely original. Stunning Boulle inlay work with gold-plated bronze ornaments in the shape of i.a. floral patterns. Gold-plated bronze dial inlaid with white enamel cartouches with blue Roman numerals, original hands and closed with faceted glass doors with a gold-plated mother of pearl edge. Eight-day movement with a striking mechanism on a ball, signed Japy Fils, Medailles d'argent 1844-1849. Marked with the initials R.A. and the number 3559. Comes with a winding key and the original pendulum with the same number 3559. The movement has been fully serviced and it works well. Truly a great clock! Photos are part of the description.
