Le Corbusier - Cassina - Dining table (1) - LC6
The Cassina LC6 table is a design from 1928 by Le Corbusier.
The concept behind the table was to create a clear distinction between the table top and the bottom frame. Le Corbusier achieved this by not only combining natural materials with industrial ones, but also by combining craftsmanship with mechanical production. The table has a solid oak wood table top varnished black which rests on a black steel frame. The supports on top of this steel frame can also be adjusted to raise the table 5 cm in height.
The table is in excellent condition and comes with the original booklet of authenticity. (See photos).
