Herbert List & Vittorio De Sica - Napoli - 1962
A beautiful portrait on the people of Napels in black and white by German photographer Herbert List (1903-1975). He was influenced by his Magnum colleague Henri Cartier-Bresson as well as the Italian neorealist film movement. The great Italian director De Sica wrote the text for the book.
This is a true first edition, the Italian edition was published 6 years later.
Condition:
- linnen cover is fine, no damages
- inside pages are very good, with only some slight discolouring along the edges
- dust jacket is very good, with some very small losses to edges, but still very nice (please see pictures for details)
