Fine series of 6 large whisky glasses in Baccarat crystal, Nancy model Cut crystal model created in 1867, the 'Nancy' set was presented at the International Fair of Nancy - that gave it its name - in 1908. The model has been listed in every Baccarat tableware catalogue since then. It is one of the great successes of the crystal maker. With its clean line and bevelled diamond-cut pattern, the 'Nancy' model has become almost emblematic of the production of Baccarat glasses, along with the Harcourt model in strong crystal, a symbol of the crystal glass-making factory repeated on the stamp. It has come in many forms: the catalogues list, according to the year, several pages of the Nancy model items. Our glass bears the signature of Baccarat: it was manufactured in the second half of the last century (before 1936, a paper label served as a stamp, but it wore off after a few washes).
