Italian fascist Dagger MVSN of World War II. This weapon was used both as a service weapon and clothing. The hilt is contoured solid wood with 4 finger cavities. Two steel rivets protrude through the grip toward the spike to fix the blade in place. The cross guard is made of steel as is the top retention plate on the top of the hilt. The scabbard has lost the screw that holds the dagger. The scabbard is made of pressed steel with the emblem of the "M.V.S.N." which was the Militia of the Fascist Party in Italy at that time (Milizia Voluntaria Sicurezza Nationale). This knife is simple and raw, well made and is an effective weapon designed only for close combat. The hilt itself is in excellent condition.
