Mercedes-Benz 200D (W115) from 1969. Model code W115 was manufactured from 1967 until 1973. The 2-litre diesel engine with 55 hp was very reliable and the soundness of this model was almost unparalleled. The simplicity of the car is the strength of the model. This one has a new Dutch registration and a new Dutch periodic vehicle inspection, valid until 06-07-2021. 4 New tyres mounted, brake pads and fluids renewed. Interior still entirely original and fitted with a functioning Blaupunkt radio. The car drives well. Thanks to its respectable age of 50 years, the car is exempt from road tax (in the Netherlands). Which means you can drive a reliable classic diesel for cheap! The exterior has been touched-up and resprayed here and there, however, not optimally. The trunk was fitted with a plate in the past and the (Dutch) periodic vehicle inspection brought forth the advice to address the signs of initial corrosion (also at the bottom).
