[Expert's remark: queen Elizabeth II, who succeeded her father king George VI, never renewed the royal warrant to Courvoisier. As a result, the company simply kept using the old "to the late King George VI" warrant, for some market even into the 1980s. These bottles were still imported to Italy by Ferraretto, indicating they are from the 1960s, which fits the packaging style. - ES}
