Carl Zeiss Jena D.F. 8x binoculars. Antieke Duitse militaire verrekijker / tijdperk 1e WW - 1907/1908. Met origineel foedraal en draagriem.

From the estate of a collector, for a collector: Carl Zeiss Jena D.F. 8x binoculars with original case and carrying strap. Antique binoculars from the period 1907/1908, manufactured in Germany with serial number 566492 / military WW I. The binoculars are in good, beautiful condition, especially considering its age. The body is made of copper with black leather and black paint. The paint has worn spots, the copper comes through, which gives a nice patina in the process. The case is made of black leather with clear traces of use. The binoculars come from the legacy of my late father-in-law, who was an avid photographer and camera equipment/accessory collector. It is a nice decorative object for the display cabinet. I will take care of decent packaging and shipment with track & trace. Please see the photos for a good impression.
