Pelforth - Logo - Pelican - Metal - Plastic

Logo of the beer Pelforth, in metal and plastic. Pelforth is a beer brewed by the Pelforth brewery, located in the city of Lille in northern France. In 1921, three brewers in Lille founded the 'Brasserie du Pelican'. The name was inspired by a dance that was very popular at the time: the 'pelican dance', better known as the Foxtrot. In 1937, the brewery launched the Pelforth 43 beer: a portmanteau of 'Pelican' and 'Fort' (strong) because it contains a lot of malt: 43 kilograms of barley per hectolitre, compared to 20 kg barley per hectolitre for an average beer. Later, the 43 would be left out. In 1972, the brewery changed its name to 'Brasserie Pelforth'. Currently, the brewery is the largest of the Heineken group, to which it belongs since 1988. Please take good look at the photos, they are part of the description. The logo will be carefully packaged and shipped with track & trace.
