Natural Pink Amethyst doesn't actually exist, but was suddenly found in small quantities. It is a rare species of Amethyst, which only occurs in Patagonia (part of Argentina), more specifically in the El Chiquada mine. This PINK variaty was first discovered in small geodes in 2018 and was presented as a 'find of the year' at the major international mineral exhibition in Tucson, USA. This Salmon colered piece may not be that big, but on the other hand the more beautiful in shape and color! Photographing the right, deeply warm color is difficult, but with these pictures, you do have an impression. Photo 1 and 2 in particular come closest to the actual color! Pink Amethyst is extremely unique and hardly offered. The delicate pink colour is caused by the presence of Hematite. This piece weighs 62 grams and measures 75 x 56 x 33 mm.
