This 'original' round dining table from Thonet has a diameter of 120 cm and is expandable with 1 insert from 60 cm to 180 cm and with 2 inserts from 60 cm even up to 240 cm in length. Even when extended, the table is stable due to the attachment of the parts to each other. The table is made of beech wood that is stained brown in a very dark colour. The table is nicely used, it almost always had a tablecloth on it and there are some damages (see photo) that occurred during the insertion of the sheets. Some tablecloths are supplied with the table. This table has been part of a set with eight chairs that are also offered in this auction in sets of 4 (see photo). Because of the size and fragility, the table need to be picked up in Geldrop (the Netherlands). Transport is possible if desired, costs will be for the buyer.
