Nice little oil lamp, known as “pigeon lamp”, this one is from “Olympe”. In polished used condition with matching wind glass and minor wear and tear. Estimated age: Circa 1900, France. Text on lamp: “Lampe feutrée “OLYMPE” Marque deposée Brulant a l’essence Minerale Garantie inexplosinble Sécurité absolue Qualité Superieure” Fuse can be moved up and down. Very beautiful and decorative and also functional (lamp can also be used lit). Height 23.5 cm, diameter 7 cm.
