Continental (Bohemian), late 19th - early 20th century. A monumental jardinière with beautiful decoration in light yellow, olive green and brown. In 1888 Julius Dressler founded a pottery factory in Biela, Bohemia, specialising in majolica. The mark of Julius Dressler appears as a pressed tower on a bed of rocks with the letters 'JDB' below it. The B is possibly for Biela. Most also have a four-digit pattern number and this flower pot has number 1631. The flower pot has three very minor damage, see photos, barely visible.
