For Europe a rather rare Overlander up for auction. This is a JDM import (Japanese Domestic Market), Toyota Hilux Surf SSR G 3.0 Turbo Diesel automatic RHD. The top model from this Hilux series! This Hilux was imported to England from Japan by the last owner in 2007, cherished for many years and adapted into an Overland vehicle. After moving to the Netherlands, the Hilux remained where it was and it was no longer (officially) being used. A lot was done to the Surf by the look of it. Equipped with a 4-Crawler off-road 2-inch suspension lift and a 2-inch body lift. A drop kit was fitted for the differential and the Panhard rod. Complete stainless steel exhaust from front to back, an original Toyota bull bar with winch box, containing a 13000LB winch with rope. Of course a Safari snorkel and a great set of lights from Light Force! Use the tow bar with drop plate like a Nato tow bar or with the regular tow bar ball. The spare wheel is of course on a swing arm because of the boot. Equipped with the optional Recaro interior and an extra built-in turbo pressure meter. There is also an altitude meter (dashboard module) available for you to build in. The engine has 216,000 miles on the counter, but was equipped with a revised head several thousand miles ago. It runs great! The gears shifts well. It has been more or less unused for a while, it will need some work before the next trip. I think you should replaced 2 tyres, the front 2 support arms have some rust, there a dent on the bonnet caused by a branch during a storm, the driver’s seat is worn from getting in and out of the car (climbing and falling). This is the ideal Overlander or Offroader compared to its brother the Landcruiser. You would easily pay three times more for a custom Landcruiser with these specifications!
