Fiat - 500 C Topolino - 1950

1950 Fiat Topolino 500 C convertible. Restored about 8 years ago and in nice condition, always kept indoors. It has been driven only for a few kilometres since its preservative restoration; used for weddings and events. Red colour with code 501 with beige interior; the engine was completely redone during the restoration (it’s in excellent condition as well as gearbox and suspension). A compression test was performed (it highlighted the excellent condition of the inner parts), as well as a general check. A new V-belt was installed. The bodywork is solid. A thickness gauge check was carried out and did not reveal any particular filler or accidents (see photos). The chassis is solid, while the driver and passenger bottom was installed new in March 2020 for an expense of over €1,000, with invoices (see photos of the works and on the car lift). New bumpers, new chrome parts on doors and sills. Interior in excellent condition with new upholstery. Michelin tyres, great soft top and frame, smooth opening and closing. The car starts immediately, is responsive and drives pleasantly. Its brakes were restored, including pipes. A regular inspection was carried out in October 2019 (valid until 2021). A video of the running car complete with all its details is available. Please note: ornamental rod indicators. Bidders are welcome to view and test the vehicle, which is located in 51039 Quarrata, PT, Italy. Please send a message to Catawiki for an appointment. We will take care of the transfer of ownership remotely or of the export documents; shipping throughout Italy, Europe and worldwide at low prices.
