Signal Tracer Heathkit, Model IT-12, manufactured by the Heath Company. From 1947 to 1992, the Heath Company marketed self-build packages under the brand name 'Heathkit'. With these kits electronics enthusiasts could build quite sophisticated electronic devices of factory quality. Kits for amateur radios were popular, but also kits for testing equipment. Hi-Fi, home sound systems, tv’s, robots etc were also sold. This Signal Tracer IT-12 has a metal casing and outwardly it is in good condition. It can be used for testing AM, FM and TV circuits. It has a speaker and a cathode-ray tube for visual representations of the output level. Has not been tested. Measurements are: 22 cm x 12 cm x 14 cm. Weight: 1.9 kg.
