Two magnificent vases by Milan Metelak The largest one, brown with air bubbles: 25.5 cm tall, a 13 cm diameter at the widest point, an opening of 9 cm. It weighs more than 2.5 kilograms. Made in the Harrachov glass factory in the Czech republic, and described in ‘Hi Sklo Lo Sklo’ by Mark Hill on page 55. The vase is entirely intact. The smaller one in blue, ‘Evening blue’, is 20 cm tall, has a diameter of 9.5 cm at the widest point, an opening of 5 cm. It weighs approx. 1.25 kilograms. Made in the Harrachov glass factory in the Czech Republic, and described in ‘Sklo czech glass design from the 1950's - 70's’ by Mark Hill on page 72. The vase is entirely intact.
