1st World War Model. Sabre for officers of the Imperial Navy in luxury execution with two etchings and fish skin. A rare and beautiful piece in a dreamlike state of preservation for it’s age. Beautifully decorated gold-plated brass hilt with two folding hinges, the underside of a folding hinge stamped with number "307". Lion's head with red and green glass eyes as it should be for navy. The handle is covered with white fish skin and with intact triple wire winding. Slightly curved mirror-blank tailed blade with tie.. The blade with two-sided beautiful maritime and floral etchings. A model with different etchings on both sides. The etchings are deep and clean. Beautiful accurate manufacturer logo, this also deep. Black leather sheath without cracks, scratches or creases. Sheath fittings stamped with "25" and "64". Total length approx. 92 cm, blade without handle approx. 76.5 cm. A very nice sabre in absolutely dreamlike condition.
