Singer 29K6 - A leather stitching sewing machine, circa 1900 - Cast steel

29K6 Label. “SINGER” sewing machine. Industrial model that can sometimes still be seen working in heel-bars and at shoemakers. Also called saddlers because they can easily penetrate through the thicker harness leather. You can stitch through soles an inch thick. On the upper part one can see the arm that provides additional power to the needle. Unparalleled technology! The machine still works faultlessly. You can install a belt and motor plus a foot pedal - e.g. from a regular second-hand sewing machine and it should work again in a professional environment. The free-arm is also quite useful. Needle and bobbin are still in place.
